Continuing from the last modeling project, I made a speed model of Sayaka’s Grief Seed, seen in episode 8 of Madoka. I think the same thing happened with me as with Charlotte’s Grief Seed, as in that I somehow wanted to pay tribute for the loss of a character in Madoka. This show does just that, dammit. Fallout New Hidamari
Here’s something nifty. I’ve been thinking about how to get my lazy ass back together to get something done. Thanks to #madoka IRC channel, I managed to dig up 3ds max and started modeling with it again.
After last weekend’s Hidamari Sketch marathon, I felt so ronery and decided to give my shot at modeling the basic floor plan of the apartment complex used in the series. I streamed both modeling sessions over Livestream (for some odd reason the streams weren’t saved). Needless to say, this is far from complete, but some progress has been made. The time frame for these shots are around 4 hours.

Sorry about the delay for the last episode’s writeup. There’s been some terrible, terrible things going on (Halo: Reach, for one), so my concentration has been all over the place.
Any way—the sixth episode which marks the first half of the series came to an end with even more brainfuckery than imagined before. To be honest, most of it was under our collective noses all of the time, but everything was just so simple and obvious, nobody almost thought about it.
Just a short notice, that I haven’t still managed to do a write-up on Madoka 06. Hopefully I’ll manage to do that tomorrow, if not, then later on this week, but before the next live watching occurs.
In the meanwhile, I suggest you take note that Yuno really has ears.

So, Madoka still doesn’t form a contract, and walks the path of the ordinary high school girl. In this episode, we also got to finally see some of Sayaka’s cool fighting skills, as well as Homura being the tsun-tsun pessimist she likes to be—it just remains to be seen why Homura is the way she is.
